Heated water creates a high-speed molecular action that causes the cleaning agent to be more active and this energy also causes a reduction in the surface tension allowing it to easily and more effectively penetrate the molecules of grease and grime. Think of it like washing greasy dishes in the sink. No matter how much soap you use, you are only smearing the grease around in cold water. Add hot water, and it cuts through the grease and oil in no time. The same applies to cleaning with a pressure washer. If oil or grease is present in any form, you will need a hot water pressure washer to remove it. The rule of thumb is simple: whatever cold water cleans, hot water will clean better and faster. Because we can effectively activate the chemicals we can use less of them, and in some cases the hot water can do the job by itself. This is safer for you, your family, pets, plants and the things you care the most about.

We also have two million dollars in personal injury coverage in case of injury to others while we are working. We are currently with a Worksafe or “WCB” account and can provide that number upon request.

Yes a water source is required. Unfortunately we cannot bring water with us to the job so the client must provide access to a cold water tap.

The dark stains you are seeing is mould and/or algae. All mould needs to grow is moisture (humidity) and a food source and it will grow anywhere. The white powdery stuff is called ‘efflorescence’. It is caused when water seeps through and dissolves salts inside then evaporates leaving the salt on the surface. It can best be removed at its early stages. Once it sets in it may even need to be sanded off with power equipment due to the strength of the salt as it hardens like rock over time.

We are very professional when dealing with our client’s property. We make sure to use proven cleaning methods and only approved gear, and the right amount of pressure at the proper temperature to ensure we do not damage to your property. You will find our company to be more effective cleaning at low pressure to ones that use more pressure because we use a well thought out technique and the correct tools that will cause no damage to your house.

Blast off Pressure Washing has spent a considerable amount of time researching and testing the chemicals we use. We only use safe, biodegradable and effective cleaners that will not harm your landscape. We also pre-rinse and post-rinse any plants in our cleaning area to keep things clean.

No. We do rinse off any windows that are within our area of cleaning due to the fact that spray will deflect off areas as we wash it. For an additional cost we can clean your windows to a spotless shine.

If you ask us to, many of our regular customers are on our reminder list. We recommend keeping your property, gutters, fencing and deck clean and up to date.

Our minimum fee of $200 is for 2 hours time. If we have time remaining after doing your cleaning you can leave a list of other items for us to use that extra time to work on. Plus we can charge an hourly rate if you wanted us to continue doing work beyond the two hours.
